trigger a digital output based on criteria

I use LabVIEW 2012. We have an event switch. when the switch turns on (sends an analog signal with the amplitude of 1.5 V), we need to send a digital impulse out to trigger another device. How can I do that? I use an NI-USB 6259 AD board, with the latest version of MAX.

Thanks

Thanks for the link. I read through it, but it seems that it deals with triggering data acquisition. What I am doing is to grab an analog signal, analyse it (using a "Trigger and Gate" Function) and based on the output of this module, send a digital signal out to another device, while recording the whole duration.

Any help is appreciated.
