Did you mean:

to uninstall a labview application

I want to build an application that when it gets installed in the program files, it also has an uninstaller with it. So that the user can directly uninstall the application by clicking that.

When you build an application in LV 6.0 there is an option in Installer settings>Checkbox Create installer>Advanced>Checkbox Create uninstaller. You will then have an uninstaller.exe in your program directory.

In LV 5.0 i think uninstaller.exe is included automatically when you Create distribution kit.

In LabVIEW 6.1, when you create an installer, an uninstaller is automatically created. Refer to the LabVIEW Application Builder 6.1 Release Notes for more information.

In LabVIEW 6i, to create an uninstaller, you need to go to Tools >> Build Application or Shared Library (DLL)... >> Installer Settings. Check the Create Installer box, click the Advanced button, and check the Create Uninstaller box.

In both cases, the user needs to uninstall the program using Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel.
