time out error that comes and goes

Here's a couple places to look, I am still running Windows 7 on my development system, but I don't think this has changed much since then.

 

In the Device Manager check all your USB hubs for this setting

In the Power Management disable selective suspend

Well sorry to say I am out of ideas, the code is straightforward so it has to be a hardware or computer issue.

 

One thing I can say is that I chased a similar problem with a Keysite 34970A (instrument randomly not responding over USB and this was with all Keysite Benchink software not LabVIEW) and ended up abandoning the USB and using its Ethernet connection.

 

It has been running flawlessly ever since in Benchilnk and LabVIEW.
