tdm importer error

Hello,

I'm trying to open a TDMS file with Excel 2010 using the tdm importer add-in, but got an error message. I am putting a screenshot of the message I get. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

Maybe you can have a check, whether do you have tdms.dll installed in the folder like c:\program files\national insturments\shared\tdms. And if not, please download the TDMS installer for free and install it.

Do you have Microsoft Office x64 bits installed?

The next link states that the compatible Microsoft Excel versions are:

  • Excel 2003, Excel 2007 and Excel 2010 (32-bit)

Excel 2000 and before are not supported, and currently Excel 2010 64-bit is not supported.

TDM Excel Add-In Tool for Microsoft Excel User Guide:

Check if you are using Microsoft Excel 2010 x64, in case you are using a x86 (32 bits) version please check that you have the following DLL installed:

C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Shared\TDMS\tdms.dll

Best regards.
