I was wanting to build a VI to monitor switch health in an attempt to automate the process and limit trouble calls on testers on the production floor. current process has tech's run switch health executive to see if mux or relays are down on current failed testers. I would like to write a vi to call the resistivity test, not temperature, of the mux's and switches in my designs in an attempt to have preventative maintenance scheduled before a switch fails. I cannot find info on such a vi and switch health is only pointing towards running the switch health exec. surely we can write a vi to automate this in code? If NI is already taking resistivity measurements then where is the vi that does this as I imagine it should already be incorporated in some location. any suggestions?
