I have a client which wants 64 bit support with our labview application, other projects require 32 bit support. What is involved is supporting development of both types of applications from a single pc and labview?

Hello Paul,
smercurio is correct. You can have both versions of LabVIEW or their runtimes (32 bit and 64 bit) on a 64bit machine. Since the 64-bit and 32-bit application work with different dlls, they won't interfere with each other. The KnowledgeBase, LabVIEW 64-bit vs. 32-bit FAQ, goes into more detail about the differences between the two versions of LabVIEW.

I am interested in the toolkits as well specifically Vision and DB for the current application. Are there any known issues with the 64 bit version of Labview?

Hello Paul,
The Vision Development Module 2009 is supported for Windows 7 and Vista 64bit. As for the DB toolkit, are you asking about the Database Connectivity Toolkit? This toolkit will work with a 64bit system. For a complete list of toolkits and modules for Windows 7 64-bit, please visit the following link: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/10383#toc3.
