subpanel: position of displayed VI

Programmatically you should set the origin of the frontpanel of the subpanel VI.

I did exactly what jeff suggested, but the switch and the led both still appear far off the expected position.

How do i set the origin of the frontpanel?

I'd recommend playing around with the origin stuff, because it can be a little tricky to figure out just by reading, but here's some places to start

Try Edit->Adjust Pane Origing, in your VI that you would like to show up in the subpanel.

As of LV19 you can select 'Scroll Panes to origin at run time' of the VI that you would like to show up in the subpanel.
This setting can be found in File->VI Properties->Window Run-Time Position
