sub-VI node configuration

It possible, with a right-click on a sub-VI during the edition of a VI, to
configure the "sub-VI node".
Is it possible to do this programmatically, during the running?
Thank you.

I can think of two ways of doing it. One, just create a case statement
with the vi in each case, with the options you want selected. Another
option would be use the VI server to change that VI's attributes.
