Did you mean:

sound card, output separate sound in left and right channel?

Solved!
Go to solution

Dear all,

I'm working and modifying the  "Generate Sound.vi"

It works fine, however i would like to control what goes out in the left vs the right audio channel.

Going down in the blockdiagram, and the sub vi:s i actually get lost where the 'mono' rectuangular tone duplicates to stereoright and left channel.

Any ideas, inputs are welcome 🙂

You just have to use an instance of the the Sound Output Write that has a 1D waveform data type input (i.e.  Sound Output Write (DBL)). Each element in the array would correspond to a channel. You change the type by right clicking on the function and doing a 'Select Type'. Oviously, the waveform generation in the example would have to be modified as well.
