I am building realtime application to stream data from FPGA to RT over DMA FIFA and then perhaps using network shared variable for transferring to windows.
I am really surprised to see that I cant simulate the RT vi by executing vi on development computer. The previous application I build did not require synchronized communication so I used front panel communication and built the whole application on development computer before compiling. I wonder if it is to do with DMA FIFOs? I even pulled up the RT vi under windows computer but to no avail? Can we use development computer for RT VI debugging?
