set page-oriention of frontpanel simular to "set report orientation"

Is there any way to change automatically the page-orientation when
printing a frontpanel without manually using the printer setup menu? I'm
thinking about a VI simular to "set report orientation.vi" in LV 5.1 ?
In LV 6.0.1 it is possible to append a frontpanel to a report, is this
also possible in LV 5.1 and how can I do it?

Any help is welcome,

Unfortunately, there is no built in way in LabVIEW to programmatically change the page orientation for printing. You might be able to accomplish this through some Windows API calls. I have attached a link to an example that pops up a dialog box for printer options. This way you could at least prompt the user before printing.

Appending front panel images to a report was a feature new to LV 6.
