service locator message error

Hi everybody!

When my data acquisition application is running during a few days, a message error occurs saying something about the NI Service Locator. It says Service Locator has detected an error and it must be closed.

Why?

I use LV 7.0 Express. I attach here some pictures.

Just one question... Is it necessary that NI Service locator runs in background as a windows service so my data acquisition applications executes correctly?

What happens if the NI Service locator isn't running while my application is?
