I have just downloaded the trial version of the Visual aquisition software, and during the installation I have to insert a serial number, but I do not have it. How can i solve this problem?

but it doesn't give much information about how to obtain an evaluation licence number... and it then directs you to that page : http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/2552/lang/en
that only says this : "When you run an NI Vision application for the first time, it prompts you to activate a license for the product. If you do not activate a valid license, the NI Vision application will run in Evaluation Mode and continue to prompt you to activate a license on each subsequent launch."
but doesn't really help.
I suggest you contact your local NI Sales rep to request an evaluation licence number.

Hi,
I think the explanation Titou gave is meaningful and helps a lot.
The explanation states that if you don't have a valid licensed serial number, you will automatically use your Vision application in an evaluation mode.
You have nothing else to do.
