sampling rate of NI PXI 5152 digitizer

hello friends.

with ur help now i am able to make my software for controlling NI PXI 5152 digitizer and NI PXI 2503 multiplexer.

now in my project i have to keep display change rate for each temperature indicator (i am going to monitor 24 monitoring points)

on front panel window to 2 sec/change. 

so sampling rate of digitizer and multiplexer should be accordingly.

but i have some dought regarding some topologies:

1)sampling rate of digitizer

2)record length

3)number of samples

above three things i have to mention for accurate synchronization of multiplexer and digitizer.

Can any one please explain me these three terms?so that i can decide what should be the value of them.
