rs-232 to tcp/ip

I am trying to develop a program that will echo characters from an rs-232 connection on a pc to a TCP connection to the same computer, and vice versa.

use the visa vi's to read nd write to the serial port and use the tcp/ip connection also in visa. This however is only documented in two lines in the readme with visa 2.5. I did not try it yet but looks promising for what you need.
