reseting integral function

How can I reset the integral function without resetting the labview application. The integral function is inside a “Case Structure”, it seems that I am not able to reset the output of the integral function without restarting the LabView application.

Appreciate your suggestions.

Hi Jafar,

Thanks for posting on the NI forums.

I believe we spoke on the phone yesterday. If you are using the integral express VI, then there is a workaround to allow you to reset the algorithm. Once you have configured the express VI so it behaves as you wish, right-click the express VI's icon on you main VI's block diagram, and select 'Show Front Panel'. A dialog box will appear, noting that the express VI will be converted to a standard VI, click 'Convert' to proceed. You will be presented with a front panel which will have on it a boolean control labelled 'Reset'. By connecting this control to one of the VIs terminals on the connector pane, you will be able to wire a boolean value to the subVI on you main VIs block diagram to reset the integral function.

I hope this helps!

Maybe it's stupid question, but what is this connector pane?
