The SCXI-1121 is great for signal conditioning. It can both amplify and filter your signal internally. The users manual can be found
here. Chapter two describes how to set the jumpers manually for both gain and filtering. The goal of the gain stages is to boost your signal as close to the 10 V max as you can. For up to 50mv signals, you would want a gain of about 200. After setting the jumpers, make sure you tell the Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) what jumper settings you have configured.
