real time customizing of control objects

I'm wondering if it's possible to add more instances of a button to the front panel during run-time.  What I mean is that the user would be asked how many buttons he/she wants, when the user enters a number into a numeric control, for example 3, three buttons would pop up onto the front panel.  If this is possible, would it be possible to add more instances of a VI to the front panel?  For right now, what i'm thinking is just put 10 instances of the same VI onto the front panel, then according to the user, enable or disable the instances by having it grey out or disabling its control.  Any thoughts would be helpful.  Thank you.

"Any thoughts would be helpful."

Well then I will take you at your word and suggest you look at reply #52 in the "A call for obfuscated LabVIEW code" thread found at this URL

If this looks like a viable path, more Picture Control postings are linked in this thread.

I have used techinique in a number of applications. It is not an easy solution, but it make things that are otherwise impossible, possible.

I hope this helps,

Ben
