"Tide HCI Tester" activeX

HI,

Has anyone got any experience or sample VIs in calling HCI Tester scripts from LabVIEW via the "Tide HCI Tester" activeX control from TI?

I have a VB macro in excel that uses the active X control that wroks for me - but for some reason I am struggling to get it going in LabVIEW..

Thanks & Regards,

Shane.

Hi Shane,

I do not have experience with the Tide HCI Tester Active X controls but generally they are called using the same method:

You can select activex container from .net and activex option from control pallete on front panel...then right click on it and select insert activex object to populate the container.

Here is another forum post discussing a similar topic.

Also there is a great example of using 3rd party active x controls here.

Kind Regards,

Larry
