I get said error message when I try to run one of my sub-VI:s. I recently tried to pack it into a library and something must have gone wrong. How do I get it out of it's delusion?

Open the library (.lvlib file) and add the VI that claims to be part of it. Then save the library.

That is not what I want to do, I want the VI to forget about the library and work as normal sub-VI.

If it's a National Instruments VI, then they've probably password protected it for a reason (e.g. because it's their IP). You probably shouldn't be trying to modify/remove these VIs from their libraries.

If it's a VI you've created, then you should know the password!

You could try to 'save as' on the VI, maybe it will save without being part of the library and the VI itself isn't password protected.
