question about customized icon

I was confronted with a problem when I was trying to customize the icon, the appendix pic will indicate it. I am confused which one to choose and sometimes I chose one(maybe the 3rd one) and edited the pic, but the pic I edited can not be saved.

Could you please do me a favor? Thanks for your time.Smiley Happy

Wow you are using an ancient LabVIEW version!

Use the 256 color. The days of black&whlte monitors (e.g. the original Mac) is long gone.

(However, you need to at least keep a frame of the correct size in the b&w icon if I remember right, because that defined the icon size.)

2009 is when they changed the Icon Editor.  So it isn't that ancient.

What I always did was create the 256 color icon and then applied it to the other two.  I surely do not miss that.
