program with xp is ok, with windows 7 is not stable

My program is developped by Labview 7.1 with window xp operation system, which has been running with windows xp stably for many years.  Now the program is mass compiled and migrated with windows7, it can no be stably working. what's the root cause?

It is hard to say.  What does the program do?

Do you know that LabVIEW 7.1 is not supported in Windows 7?

You need to provide significantly more detail:

  • What is the definition of "not stably"? (e.g. lockups, stalls, application crash, computer crash, computer bursts into flames, etc.)
  • What kind of hardware and drivers are involved?
  • Are you running in the LabVIEW development environment or is this a built application?
  • Is the program trying to write to protected system locations that windows 7 blocks?
  • Since you talk about masscompiling, I assume you also upgraded the LabVIEW version. What is the new version?

Also read this note.
