phase adjust of noisy waveform

hello one and all,

say i have a waveform that is already created.  it has some noise add to it also.  i want to change the phase and amplitude of the waveform without recreating it with one of the waveform generators.  what is the best way to change the phase and amplitude of a waveform that is already created?  thank you in advance and have a great week.

Get the waveform components and multiply the amplitude with numeric value which you are interested, vary the dt factor...  I am not sure whether this is what you wanted...do let me know If I am wrong.
