personalized command - make transparent image

Hi,

I want to create a personnalized slide by replacing the cursor by a home-made image.

My image would be a representation of my measurement head.

I'd like to have some part of the imported image to be transparent, so as not to have white pixels to slide with my image. (as the "man on the ladder" is the labview examples "using custon controls.vi")

How can I create a such personnalized slide ?

Hi,
you have to create an image with photoshop (or others soft), and save the image in .png type.
Then copy and paste your image into labiew, and enjoy.

I always use "the GIMP" to create graphics. It's an opensource program, and very capable. It can save as png (and lots of other formats). Yes, my avatar was made in it too, in case you're wondering ;-).
