pci 6225 problems

Hi all

I am trying to acquire data from a function generator using NI PCI 6225. When i give any voltage it shows only -10.5 in the wavform. I do not understand if it is a problem of hardware or any other problem.

Hi Rajan,

did you try to capture this signal in MAX? Do you see the same problems there?

Hi gangaputra,

no, you don't need to change the hardware. Start the Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX), go to devices, select your PCI 6225 and select test panel. Select the channel you connect your device to and start the acquisition.

Hi Rajan,

in my description pin 54 is AO ground and 22 is AO0. I thought you want to acquire data, so you need an input.

Hi Rajan,

if you right click in your device in MAX, then you can see the pin assignment. For an input you can use connector 67 and 68.
