passing png to excel

I'm trying to figure out how to pass a png file to display in excel. I do have the report generation tool kit. Any examples would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using the IMAQ vis, the picture vis, or are you just creating your own PNG (ie, just the pixel values?)?

While I haven't personally tried this, (I will once I get your response) you could probably utilize the ActiveX controls for excel to literally paste the PNG into a spreadsheet.

You should be able to use the Append Image to Report.vi to do this.

This VI is exactly what you want if you have the toolkit.
