non linear curve fitting compact rio

Hello everybody,

I have somme trouble to use the function called  "constrained non linear curve fit" on my compact rio and I would like some advice. Thanks in advance.

I have Laview 8.6

I know to use this fonction on my HOST computer

I know the basis of compact rio

Here is mys problem:

there are two files, one with the block constrained non linear curve fit, nammed fitting.vi and an other file contained the model function named function.vi

1) I don't know if we can use this block on the compact rio

2) I tried to use this block on my compact rio real time but I have an error, the code with the error indicator is in file code.jpg, the other file can help you to understand my problem.

The error concern the file that contained the model function (f(X,a)). When I run the code in the host and when the file function.vi is in HOST, everything all right, but how does it work when the file are in compact rio?

Hi,

You cannot use mathematical functions on cRIO. The FPGA insisde the rio are built with integer and mathematical need floating float so it's not possible.
