node not supported in current target

hi,

i was doing some testing regarding subvi's using labview and i came across this problem. when i created a subvi with an indicator attached to it and try to download it to my NXT, it says that the node is not supported in current target. Does somebody know how to solve this problem? i am using labview 2009 with NXT toolkit. Attached is the picture of the error i encountered

thanks

I don't think NXT supports reference, since it's not available in function palette.

Why won't wiring an output from the subVI work? That's the normal way to do it? Why do you want to use a  reference? What is the code in the subVI?
