Did you mean:

ni usb-6501 to communicate it with multiplexer and to then communicate with keithley 2420

Hi GerdW,

Not working accordingly means that the current(V-I) which is coming is not correct ( I took resistors  and used 4051 to input any of the resistor and from IV graph I measured the resistance which is not correct but without multiplexer its coming all OK with keithley-2420 directly in contact with the resistor)

Hi jyot,

you did not wire any GND (or COM) lines between USB6501 and your CD4051 board…

Best regards,
GerdW

Apology for that, I forgot to add it in the picture. I have wired them (gnd  of USB and low keithley and and of 4051 together) and the lines of 6501 is controlled in a correct manner(say to activate p0.1 from p0.1....p0.3 I have entered 2 in the input via LabVIEW program and it worked fine)

So you used a DMM to check your digital outputs to work correctly?

You used that DMM to check your digital outputs are correctly received at the CD4051 pins?

When you have done that: Did you check your CD4051 board for "correctly working"? Is it ok - or is it broken?

Best regards,
GerdW

Hi GerdW,

I simply used few LEDs to check whether its giving the correct output or not

Those output are received correctly at the input control (s0,s1,s2) but not at the Output of the 4051
