ni usb-6009 daq assistant not read as daq, but just as USB

I have some problems in configuring the NI usb-6009 device. the DAQ assistant of labview can't recognize it (we have downloaded the NI DAQmx 1.3). MAX sees the devices like usb and not as a DAQ.  have you some suggestion for us?

There is no such thing as DAQmx version 1.3. The earliest version of DAQmx is 7.0 and the latest version is 8.5. I suspect that what you did was download DAQmx base. This is a completely different driver and the DAQ Assistant does not use it. Assuming you are on windows, you should download and install the latest version of DAQmx. What did you get on the CD that came with the device?
