Hi
I have a Crio ni 9022 4 slot, Crio 9113.
Using LV 14.
As far as is see i have all the software installed. Attached is the software installed.
Problems is, i cannot see NI9870/1 in MAX to be able to see the com ports to be able to use them
in scan mode or FPGA.
The Ni9871 will be used in FPGA.
NI 9870 in scan mode.
Thanks in advanced
Douglas

This should answer your question.
But, how are you planning to use one in scan mode and the other in FPGA at the same time? That would require loading two different bitfiles onto your FPGA.

Hi
Thanks.
Both are using modbus. Ni9871 will be using the ni fpga modbus drivers. deploy onto fpga.
NI 9870 deploy onto the realtime engine of the Crio. Using the modbus drivers supplied by NI.
The Crio's are in there own area in the Network and pc's in another, so have to go through firewalls.
I have 3 pc's, two are dedicated to there own Crio. One pc mine will see all Crio's.
I have one pc connected to a Crio, W3304, and it can see the NI9870/1 in MAx. But can't figure why the other pc
can't see the ni 9870/1 on its Crio W4247. Attached file.
For Scanmode i need the com port address, which comes from MAX.
cheers
Douglas
