make a signal active or inactive for PXI-6514

  Hello,

I have NI PXI 6514 Digital I/O device and let's say that I want to change the Signal P4.0 to inactive by sending + 3V or inactive by   having high-impedance value. My question is how I can write to this digital line this 3V using the Write Dig Chan. vi.

Thanks in advance,

Iliya

Hi,

the output voltage on PXI-6514 digital line is directly connected to VCC by a Darlington driver. Please see the link below.

Due to the diode in place, the output impedance measured between the positive and ground terminals is very high whether the switch (Darlington Driver) is open or closed.

You could send more details about your requirements.

Regards

Rüdiger
