location of lvm file

hi all,

in labview 8.5, i use save to series of files for my read to measurement file properties. how to made the file name link (location) of this lvm file so that the lvm file will be save on the same location in different pc. (prefer link is C:\...\desktop\data.lvm)

Hi mic_k86,

you can use a path constant, maybe the "temporary" or "default data" directory. With strip and build path you can then create the path you need.

 You can refer to the examples in the labview file.Just type file in the search and should see several example on writ and read of LVM file.I attached one example for you.
