I am running a main vi (A) that does most of the things I need. However, it happens that I need to run a standalone configuration vi (B) when the main itself vi is not running. What I do is to open B, run it and close it. Get back to A and run it. Is there a way to link B on panel A through a button? It is important that A is not running when B is. This would just be for my convenience.
Is your application controlling hardware that VI B configures? I'm thinking that VI A should be a State Machine architecture that calls VI B when it starts.
