limit number of digits in measurement results

How do you shorten the number of digits in the measurement result from a test? I'm using LabView 8.0 with TestStand 3.5.

I believe you are refering to the number of displayed digits. Right click on the control, select properties, go to format... Then you can define the number of significant digits, or the number of digits after the separator...

Thanks for the reply. I have done this allready but when the result goes into TestStand it no longer is only four digits. What am I missing?

You should be posting questions about TestStand to that forum but I think what you want is done in the sequence editor. when configuring the numeric limit, click the Numeric Format button, change Type to Real and set Number of Fractional Digits to whatever you want.

Hi GoldWing,

Refer to this post that describes several options in changing the digits.

Hope this helps!
