labview: FPGA target vi compiliation is very very slow

Hi all,

I am doing a project with compactRIO 9025 and NI 9871. I developed a vi reading from three different serial devices. However, the compilation of the target vi takes around 1 hour. May I ask that is this an usual situation or is it because my PC is slow? Will the comlilation speed up if I changed a better computer?

Yes - it is expected that compilation for FPGAs takes a long time.
