I am developing a LabVIEW VI for a test and measurement system to be used on an Advantech PCM-4386F that has two MPC560 data acquisition cards from MicroSys Inc. The method that I have used in the past is to develop and build the VI on a desktop PC than downloading the VI to a target system to test and try to debug it. Is there a way to develop the VI on the PC then interactively with the PC being the controller test and debug the VI that is running on the target system?
I am generating an executable to run on the target. What documentation is available describing the process of making a debuggable executable and using a remote connection from the PC to operate it?
