What about initiializing it and have a timer in the loop to make it
wait a few second before the program runs.

Or set it up in Windows ?

Hi Jior

You could try loading parts of the code as you need them, by using VIserver.
Ex.
The program just loads the serial init functions first and runs. Which in turn, using VIserver, loads the rest of the program at
hte same time it is initialising the serial port.
