i am trying to design a data acquisition system using labview 8.2 software.during continous sampling in DAX mx analog edge trigger i got the error code 200077.i dont know how to solve it. i could not do the file wriing for analog data aquisition

Are you using an example VI? I was not able to find this VI in examples. Can you post it here?

May be you can try using the example VI in "<LabVIEW 8.2>\examples\DAQmx\Analog In\Measure Voltage.llb\Acq&Graph Voltage-Int Clk-Analog Start w Hyst.vi"

From the specification, 6229 supports only digital trigger. Looks like you are getting the error because of this.
