how to properly time stamp

nisttime-32bit.exe maintains a log of error corrections.  You can use the error log to offset your timestamp and provide a relative time stamp.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that little tidbit in my last post but, it was obvious to me.  Thanks for keeping my on my toes Saverio

You may alsow want to check to see if the National Instrument Time Synchronization Service is running. One of the first things I do when installing LabVIEW is to disable a lot of the extraneous and unnecessary services NI seems to think that I need to have running, and the Time Synchronization Service is at the top of that list.
