how to print colored words and characters？

I have designed a printcontrol vi in which I use the set report footer text .In order to print colored words and character I use the string indicator property to set the text color, but when I print it ,the color of words and characters are still black. How can I print the colored words and characters? Hope to get help,thanks in advance for your help!

Hi,

All you are doing is changing the colour of the text on-screen. The string data is passed to the 'set report footer text.vi' in terms of data only and no formatting.

You will need to modify the 'set report footer text.vi' as shown in the image attached. This will set the footer text to red.
