how to measure the frequency of the data from the chart?

i have made a vi that acquire data (say sine wave) into a spreadsheet file and also on the chart from the function generator. how can i show that the frequency of the plotted sine wave is the same as the sine wave acquired from the function generator.

Preet,

I would suggest reading your file back in and plotting it over the other plot. If they lay over perfectly, then they match.
You could also use the 'Extract Single Tone Information.vi" to input the waveform and have it return the frequency.

I guess I still do not understand. If you write the same data to the spreadsheet as you do to the chart, then it is the same data, it will not change. If you want, post your VI that is doing this and I can take a look at it, but we will see.
