how to have multiple type of analog channels in same DAQ assistant?

Hello everyone,

                      Can I configure a DAQ assistant (pci-6229) to have multiple analog i/p and multiple analog o/p at the same time??/

DO not hesitate to tell me that my question is absurd... M pretty new to LV.

No. A single DAQ Assistant can only be used for just analog inputs or just analog outputs. You can of course have any number and any type (i.e. voltage, temperature, etc) of analog inputs in a single task and any number and any type of analog outputs in a single task. You can see this yourself when you initially create the task in the Assistant or when you click on the 'Add' button once it's initially created.

okey.. can you please post me some simple example of a digital output/??? What if I would like to control a motor relay (+5V) using DAQ???

There are simple examples when you go to Help>Find Examples>Hardware Input and Output>DAQmx>Digital Generation.
