how to edit label in VI hierarchy view?

Hi,

  I am using labview 2012. I am priting the VI hierarchy and wonder if there is anyway to show a short path in the label. Now, I set to show the full path but it seems no way to edit the label.

Is that any way to print the hierarchy with exclusion of some subvis?

Hi dragondriver,

The VI Hierarchy tool looks like it's a stand alone tool with limited functionality.  If you'd like customized heirarchy information I would suggest that you try to program something in LabVIEW (this may be overkill for what you're trying to accomplish).  Here's an example of a quick hierarchy example. https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-18526
