how to do image calibration

Hello everyone,

this is the first time i use labview, and i would like to know what steps i should do to do calibration using labview. it would be great if there is block diagram for that. i've been reading a lot of manuals and forums, but i still don't understand it clearly. I apologize for the basic question, but labview is not easy for me and i need to create calibration block diagram as soon as possible.

Thank you for your attention

Can you explain what you mean by calibration?

What are you trying to caibrate? As it stands, I have no idea what you are trying to achieve.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. I would like to do calibration like on the link below :

http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/370281M-01/nivisionlvbasics/perspective_and_nonlinear_distor...

My camera is perpendicular to the plate/image, so i assume i use nonlinear calibration ? Because i am not familiar with labview, it is a bit hard for me to inteprate the information on that link to block diagram.

Thank you for your attention

-When to use calibration and what type: https://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/370281AC-01/nivisionconcepts/spatial_calibration_whento/

-You can start with checking the Caliibration examples provided along with LabVIEW Example Finder.

-Few other links to start with Calibration: https://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/370281AC-01/TOC38.htm and https://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/370281AC-01/nivisionconcepts/spatial_calibration_concepts/
