how to customize menu

Good Morining,

I want to make a stand alone application of my vi.

So I created an exe file. But I want to make it like the programs which we download from internet. Because if a non labview user want to use my application he will not know where is the run button or how to execute the application. So I want to make the front panel look like something which is understood by non programers. Is there a way to do so.

Thank you for your help.

The -main VI specified in the project is not there.

The default behavior of an exe is to run when opened so there is no need for anyone to click on the run arrow and it should be hidden by going to VI Properties>Window Appearance>Customize. Uncheck 'Show toolbar when running'.

Here are a couple of "How-to" videos you may find useful:

Hide the LabVIEW toolbar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CbKuBVGzo0

Customize the run time menu: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkpiAmHFddM
