how can i capture image from tv card [AVerTVStudio203(M168)]

Dear all,
i am new at LabView programming, i found some topics on the forum but i can't find the exact solution.

My test system consists of

1] software [ Labview 8.5 ]
2] tv card [AVerTVStudio203(M168)]
3] avertv [viewing and recording software of the tv card]
4] dvb- s receiver (set top box to receive satellite signals)

tv card has 3 inputs
 1] 75 Ω TV Antenna Input ,2]Composite (RCA) video input, 3] S-Video

receiver is connected to tv through composite rca connection.

My question is ?

Can i take a snapshot, capture a photo with this configuration using Labview ?

Best Regards

Hi hldn,

yes i´m sure you can, because you can always do a screenshot and then you got it. It could also be possible that your tv program has ActiveX support.

Hi hldn,

if you download the LV8.0 version it could be that there are some error lines are broken. The path to the dll has to be the right one to the kernel32.dll and the user32.dll. You will find both in your windows system directory. connect the error lines and it should work.
