how can I play an audio signal using DAQ or other way?

hello...! i am using labview 2015 on windows 10.. there is no example for sound vi in example finder. i need to play waveform and acquire sound too. i am using NIUSB6210

i have connected microphone to my card but MAX shows no supported devices found.

have been trying for different microphones same result.

Sorry for necro-bumping this thread, but I thought it was best to have a solution to this problem out there since none of NI resources I found presented any way to play wav files using DAQmx.

This solution essentially converts the wav data into voltage variation that the DAQ can understand.

Hope this helps anyone who might be pulling their hair trying to figure out playing anything more complex than a sinusoid.
