how I do turn off the auto-select tool in the tools palette?

No matter what I do in LabVIEW 8, it keeps turning itself back on.  It never used to do that in LV6.1!!!

Yes, I noticed that too... Annoying, isn't it? I haven't seen how to turn that off, as a matter of fact, I haven't seen the tools palette either..

There is a more permanant way to do this but I do not have a machine with LV 8 up at the moment!

"Shift Right click" on a blank space and then hit the led in the top right corner of the tool palette.

Just so you know that the tools pallette is under the view menu now in LV 8.
