My project is about home automation using labview.
The main idea is to control electronics devices in your home using your cell phone. You just have to call on your landline and my pressing# 1 2 3 or 4 , you can controle your tv , washing machine, etc respectively.

The place I would start is by looking into some of the home automation standards that already exist and then see how a LabVIEW system would fit into the picture.
